BUSINESS PATHWAY – PILLAR 2: MARKETING
AGENT CONSULT SCRIPT
“If People Don’t Know You, They Can’t Pay You”
INTRO
Let’s talk about one of the most misunderstood parts of business: marketing.
When we say “marketing,” we’re not talking about a logo or a fancy post. We’re talking about how you attract the right people, build trust, and turn attention into income.
Because if your product is great but people don’t know about it—or your message doesn’t connect—then growth will always feel slow, inconsistent, or frustrating.
Let me walk you through three shifts that help businesses increase visibility, attract better leads, and grow with more consistency—without needing a big budget.
VALUE POINT 1: “Marketing Isn’t About Shouting Louder—It’s About Saying the Right Thing to the Right People”
Stat:
HubSpot reports that 61% of small businesses struggle to generate leads—not because they’re not marketing, but because their message isn’t clear or compelling.
How to explain it:
“Most business owners talk about what they do—but not in a way that connects emotionally or practically with what the client actually wants. Marketing isn’t about volume—it’s about clarity.”
Example:
A home services company had solid reviews but poor engagement. We helped them shift their messaging from features to outcomes—reliability, trust, peace of mind. Their site conversion rate jumped 40% in two weeks.
What the client can do right now:
- Simplify the Message: “We help [ideal client] get [specific result] without [pain].”
- Use the Client’s Words: Ask 3 recent customers why they chose you. Use that language in your next 3 posts.
- Replace Jargon with Emotion: Don’t sell the tool—sell the feeling it delivers (relief, freedom, success).
Agent asks: “If your best potential client saw your message right now—would they instantly feel like you were the solution, or would they scroll past it?”
VALUE POINT 2: “You Don’t Have a Lead Problem—You Have a Visibility Problem”
Stat:
It takes 7 to 11 touches before someone buys, but most businesses give up after 1 or 2.
How to explain it:
“If you’re not consistently in front of your audience with the right message, they’ll forget you. But posting randomly or just to ‘stay active’ doesn’t work either.”
Example:
A fitness studio was posting daily but saw no results. Why? Because the content was generic. We showed them how to shift from quotes and selfies to client stories and belief-breaking posts. Engagement and leads doubled in 30 days.
What the client can do right now:
LEVEL 1 – For those not showing up consistently:- Post 3x/week minimum: Focus on results, stories, and client pain—not just products.
- Create a Weekly Visibility Habit: Go live, send an email, or post a behind-the-scenes every week—non-negotiable.
- Re-engage Old Leads: Send 10 past leads a “quick check-in” message with an updated offer or helpful resource.
- Audit Your Last 10 Posts: Did they solve a problem? Tell a story? Connect emotionally? Or just fill space?
- Use a Weekly Rotation:
Day 1: Pain point
Day 2: Client story
Day 3: Behind the scenes or personal insight
Day 4: Clear CTA or offer - Speak in “You” Language: “You’re stuck, not lazy” hits harder than “We help busy people.”
- Shift from Teaching to Triggering: Stop giving tips. Start calling out beliefs that are keeping your audience stuck.
Agent asks: “What would happen if your content actually made your client feel understood—like you were speaking directly to their struggle?”
VALUE POINT 3: “If You Don’t Have a Lead Machine, You’re Just Hoping”
Stat:
75% of small businesses have no lead generation system—they rely entirely on referrals or sporadic marketing.
How to explain it:
“Referrals are great—but they’re not predictable. If your business slows down every time you get busy, you don’t have a system. You have a hustle.”
Example:
A cleaning business was stuck at $6K/month. We helped them launch a simple lead magnet, automate the follow-up, and run a $10/day ad. They broke $10K/month within 6 weeks—and leads continued even when they weren’t online.
What the client can do right now:
LEVEL 1 – For those with no system in place:- Create a Lead Magnet: Checklist, free video, quote form, or “how-to” PDF that solves one small problem for your ideal client.
- Automate Your First Follow-Up: Set up an auto-response via text, email, or DM that thanks them and invites the next step.
- Track Your Leads Weekly: Know where they came from, how they found you, and which ones convert.
- Install a Lead Nurture Sequence: Use emails, texts, or retargeting ads that continue the conversation over 7–10 days.
- Use Social Proof Everywhere: Post client wins, testimonials, screenshots, and before/afters weekly.
- Use Deadlines and Scarcity: Add urgency. Limited spots. Closing soon. Next 3 get a bonus. Give people a reason to act now.
Agent asks: “What would change if you knew, no matter what, that 3–5 qualified leads were coming in every day?”
LOCK-IN COMMITMENT
“You just heard two levels of strategy: Simple actions for visibility—and next-level moves for real traction.
Out of everything we covered, which one are you ready to commit to this week?” (Pause. Let them answer. Anchor it.)
“Perfect. That one move right there—that’s what we’ll help you build inside CP4.”
CP4 TRANSITION (Natural + Objection-Handling Embedded)
This is exactly what we do inside CP4.
It’s not a course or a program with videos you’ll never finish. It’s four private, focused sessions with a strategist who knows how to build lead systems, improve messaging, and help you grow your visibility in a way that actually creates results.
You’ll work one-on-one with someone who’s already helped business owners fix the exact issues you’re dealing with—whether that’s weak messaging, inconsistent marketing, or no real system for attracting qualified leads.
Most people who go through this don’t realize how close they already were to consistent leads. They just needed a better plan—and someone to walk them through it.
We don’t add more noise. We build what works.
Would it help if I showed you how those four sessions would apply directly to your business and what you just told me matters most?
